SPS EZPay
SPS EZpay was developed to allow school districts to have a single “payment portal” enabling parents to pay any/all school related fees and make payments into their child’s meal account.
Other on-line payment systems are “proprietary” extensions of a specific meal Point of Sale (POS) or Student Management System (SMS) and are marketed by these companies. This forces districts to have multiple on line payment systems to support their various payment types and then be locked in to the vendor of these systems. If a district wants to change their POS or SMS, they are required to also replace the proprietary on-line payment system.
EZpay is unique in that we do not market any POS or SMS. We are focused on supporting the district by interfacing with their current systems and, should they wish to change, their future systems. To this end, we have interfaces and partnerships with over twenty (20) different POS and SMS systems with more continuously in development. These POS and SMS partners recognize meeting district needs is more important than increasing their “bottom line” by forcing a district to use their proprietary on line-payment system.
